Optimizing Quality

In priority order, we recommend the following steps for improving the quality of your hologram:

  1. Ensure you have a high quality calibration: Compare your hologram quality to the examples above. If your calibration quality differs from the examples, you’ll want to revisit camera positioning, lighting placement, and calibration technique. We offer live support for paid subscribers to help you fine-tune your setup, please contact us at info@formavision.io.
  2. Optimize your AI engine: From the Forma Vision homepage, navigate to “settings”, then “experimental”. You’ll find a “Optimize hardware” button that will kick off a 1-2 hour optimization process to ensure the AI model is tuned precisely to best perform on your specific computer. NOTE: do not turn off your computer during this time
  3. Ensure internet upload bandwidth is at least 20 Mbps UL/DL. (Note: This will not affect the quality of your hologram locally but will ensure your audience sees the high quality hologram possible.)
  4. Ensure camera lenses are clean.
