Forma Studio + Magic Leap 2

When using Forma Studio, you will see the Forma Vision meeting room on your computer’s desktop monitor. Within this meeting room you will see: 1) your own hologram 2) floating avatar headsets of meeting participants joining via HMDs 3) other holographic participants 4) if screenshare is active, there will be a virtual monitor showing the screen share content 5) if a object is being actively shared, there will be an object in the center of the room. The “Pairing” feature enables you to see these meeting elements in your local physical space with the help of a Magic Leap 2 headset so that you no longer have to look at the computer’s 2D monitor during the meeting. With paired augmented reality glasses (i.e. Magic Leap 2) you can physically turn and face someone as they are talking, point at an object being discussed, or gesture at a powerpoint slide you are presenting.

Pairing a Forma Studio to a Magic Leap 2 requires you to:

1. Display a QR code on the Forma Studio application (Select “Settings”->Select “Pair with HMD”)
2. Scan the Forma Studio QR code using Forma Vision for Magic Leap 2 application (Select “+” icon on the Join Meeting screen-> follow in-app instructions)
3. Join the same meeting room name on both applications (Forma Studio AND Forma Vision for Magic Leap 2)
